Broadway Limited has another run of their New York Central N scale steel box cars arriving November 2017 (end of this month). These will be available in 4-packs and single units in multiple road numbers.
The NYC steel boxcars became the second most produced steel box car in America and was commonly found from the 1920’s through the 1950’s. The Broadway model represents the units produced in the 1940’s and 1950’s with rectangular paneled roofs, corrugated doors, AB brakes, ARA U-section trucks and steel-grid running boards. BLI is producing two versions with corrugated or Dreadnaught ends and a variety of NYC logo types.
