So we’ve been hit with the flu bug here at M160 (our apologies for the lack of recent updates) but that means we have some extra down time to poke around a few websites we don’t get to visit very often. Our good n-scale friend David K. Smith mentioned this website on his blog and we’ve since seen it pop up in a few other places. If you’re looking to see just how realistic you can get in this scale, look no further than the work of Jürgen in Germany. His n-scale dioramas are truly amazing work and give us some motivation to try and step it up a bit more. The mix of textures, choice of colors and more are all just about perfect. Below are a few samples of his modeling and the website link below has many, many more.

We would also like to extend a friendly invitation to discuss with us what you think of Jürgen’s work in our discussion forums here on Model:160. Just click on the forum link below and register – it is quick and painless. We’d love to hear from you all and we plan to utilize our forums quite a bit more in the future to answer questions, get feedback and shoot the breeze on all things n-scale. Modeling is always better when you can share it with someone – misery loves company! See you there.
