New York City Subway Kiosks, N Scale Detail from American Archetype

Riverside, NJ — American Archetype is pleased to announce the release of New York City Subway Kiosks now available in N Scale.

The American Archetype subway kiosks are based on the Interborough Rapid Transit Company (IRT) cast-iron prototypes used in New York City from the early 1900s to the mid to late 1950s. These served as covers to New York’s subway system stairwells and used a domed roof for entrances and a pyramid roof for exits. The kiosks were most often placed inline within 50-100 feet apart on city sidewalks, usually with the entrance in front of the exit and both facing the same direction

Kiosks are produced as on-demand rapid prototypes and come as a two-piece set – one entrance (domed top) and one exit (pyramid top). These arrive as semi-transparent, unpainted plastic. Finishing instructions, printable window glazing templates (glazing not included) and more information are available from the American Archetype website, American Archetype New York City Subway Kiosks (Set of 2) sell for $24.00.

American Archetype provides unique details and accessories to enhance the realism and interest of model railroading layouts. Currently, the company is offering N scale rapid prototype models that are manufactured on-demand for each order.
